SintLucas is a renowned Dutch vocational school specialising in creative and technical education. With campuses in Eindhoven and Boxtel, we offer secondary (vmbo) and vocational (mbo) programmes focused on design, media, and technology.
Our mission is to guide creative talents toward successful futures in the creative industry. We provide hands-on learning environments where students develop practical skills and creative thinking. Our curriculum includes fields such as media design, audiovisual production, spatial design, and photography. We collaborate closely with industry partners to ensure our education aligns with professional practices. International internships and work experiences
SintLucas encourages students to gain international experience through creative internships abroad.We’re always looking for inspiring companies across Europe and beyond where students can grow, contribute, and learn.Internships typically last up to 20 weeks and focus on media, design, technology and creative thinking.By hosting a SintLucas student, you welcome fresh talent, new perspectives, and hands-on energy.
At SintLucas, students who wish to go abroad for an internship go through a personal intake with their mentor and internship supervisor. Only students with strong motivation, solid study results, and a well-developed digital portfolio are eligible. Selected students are reliable, independent, and ready to make a meaningful contribution to the companies they join.
Students may apply to a company from our partner network or find an international internship on their own.
To qualify as a host company, you must meet the following conditions:
- You offer a safe and professional work environment that matches the student’s field of study.
- A qualified staff member is available to supervise the student, understands the internship requirements, and is willing to coach and guide.
- You maintain regular contact with SintLucas about the student’s progress.
- You provide a structured training experience, including a clear internship plan, proper workspace, tools, and time for mentoring.
Locations must be politically stable and approved by our school for student mobility.

International projects
At SintLucas, internationalisation is an essential part of our vision on creative and future-proof education. We have an Erasmus+ accreditation on school education (SE) and vocational (VET) level. We believe that working, learning and creating across borders helps students grow as professionals and individuals. Through international projects, we offer students and staff meaningful experiences that stimulate cultural awareness, collaboration, and innovation.
We regularly organise and participate in international projects, including:
- Erasmus+ group mobilities with creative workshops in countries like Norway, Spain and Germany.
- Short-term blended learning projects with partner schools across Europe.
- Staff exchanges and international job-shadowing programmes
