During training at SintLucas, we challenge you to get the best out of yourself. What do I want to become and what choices belong to that?

Support
You will not make choices on your own, but with your career coach who will guide you throughout your programme. You will discuss your development and results with your career coach. Together, you will make choices for your study progress. In addition, there is a whole team of teachers and instructors who are closely involved in your studies.
Facilities policy
Do you have learning difficulties due to, for example: dyslexia, dyscalculia or ADHD? The facilities policy document in the download block on the right describes which facilities may be granted during the exam or during your studies at SintLucas. Do you wish to request facilities? Then go to MijnLucas (portal for SintLucas students). Under “Quick to” click on “Examination”. There you can request the extra facilities.
Care Advisory Team
For students who have problems with learning or social-emotional issues that jeopardise studying and/or school activities, SintLucas has a Care Advisory Team (ZAT). The ZAT arranges support, gives advice and/or refers to assistance agencies. The ZAT consists of an internal care coordinator and (external) school social worker. If necessary, they collaborate with other organisations such as the municipality, the obligatory education officer, the police and the mental health care services.
If you need (extra) support during your study programme, we will examine together with you and your parent(s)/carer(s) whether we can offer you sufficient guidance and support to enable you to succeed at SintLucas. More information can be found in our School Support Profile for Appropriate Education.
