If you are a designer, infographic maker, or someone dealing with corporate identities or all kinds of other drawing work, you will benefit from this training in Adobe Illustrator.
The training is a constant alternation between explanation, application, understanding and doing. Naturally, there is plenty of room for asking questions. Depending on the time available, there will be room for additional explanations, more examples and even more exercises.

What will I be able to do after Adobe Illustrator training?
After basic Adobe Illustrator training, you can expect to have gained the following skills and knowledge:
- Understanding the Interface: You will become familiar with the Illustrator workspace, menus, tool panels, and how to customise the workspace to suit your needs.
- Using Basic Tools: You will learn how to work with the selection and drawing tools, such as the Pen tool, Shape tools, and the Type tool.
- Layers and Organisation: You get an understanding of how layers work in Illustrator and how to organise and manage objects within your projects.
- Colour Management: You learn how to choose and apply colours, including how to use spot colours and create colour palettes.
- Typography Basics: You will learn how to add and edit text, and how to adjust typographic settings such as font, size, alignment, and line spacing.
- Vector Basics: You will understand what vector drawings are and how to create and edit paths and anchor points.
- Simple Shapes and Patterns: You will learn how to create simple shapes and patterns and how to transform and combine them to create more complex designs.
- Basic Effects and Transformations: You get to experiment with simple effects such as shadows, gloids, and transformations such as scaling, rotating and distorting.
- File Management: You will learn how to save, export and manage Illustrator files for different media, such as print and web.
- Basic Workflow: You will gain insight into a typical workflow for designing with Illustrator, from setting up a document to exporting the final product.
These skills are the foundation you can build on to tackle more advanced techniques and projects in Adobe Illustrator.

To participate in this training programme, you will need your own laptop and a licence of Adobe Creative Cloud. Don’t have a licence? Then order one via this link.
The cost of an Adobe licence varies and depends on which membership you purchase. It is also possible to buy a trial version first. Please note that this version can only be used for a limited time.
First install the software (Adobe Creative Cloud and the desired programmes), check that your login details for your Adobe ID are correct and that the software works.

Trainings have a minimum and maximum number of participants. As soon as there are enough participants, we will let you know whether the training will take place. If a training course does not take place, your registration will be transferred to the next starting date. Nice and easy. The small groups guarantee personal attention for you as participant.
